Hi ladies!

So, I saw another movie which is so late for me to see. What else is new to me? I am always LATE. I got a one week off from work, after having a stressful weekend for me and my family, I decided to have a movie marathon with some chips on the side to relieve my stress. Argh! Losing a family member can be so stressful and heartbreaking. 

I got so intrigued about this film titled "Beastly", which is an adaptation of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I realized that there are really lots of fairy tales that was being turned into a film. You know with the real person acting on it and not that any sketchy or 3Ds character. 

So if ever you haven't seen this movie that I'm talking about and kinda curious about it, keep scrolling.

Kyle Kingston (Alex Pettyfer) is a boy living in a world of shallow and vain. Every girl wants to date her because he is the most popular, rich and handsome in the university. The only important thing for him is good looks which, in his perception, can only lead you into victory and the limelight. Being too arrogant, he was soon taught a lesson by a beautiful witch, Kendra. He was turning into an ugly, full of scars, with weird tattoos and metals on his face. Finding a true love is the only thing that can turn him back to his own self.

Alex Pettyfer as Kyle/Hunter

Alex Pettyfer is a good choice for Kyle/Hunter. The way he carries the character of Kyle for being so arrogant and the character of Hunter for being so calm, WOW! He played both parts convincingly. But I like him more being the Beast. 

Lindy Taylor (Vanessa Hudgens) played as the Beauty in this movie. A cool, pretty and free-spirited girl who later on becomes the antidote to Kyle's ugly spell. The two merged their world because Lindy was in a dangerous situation that can lead to her death. He was fed, cared and love by Kyle while they are on the same roof. Unknowingly, Lindy has a crush on Kyle.

Unlike Alex, I don't think Vanessa pulled it off. I don't know but there is something weird about Vanessa and I don't know what is it. Don't ask me. I don't know. Haha. But it didn't distract the movie.

Kendra (Mary Kate Olsen) is a beautiful witch who cursed Kyle into a beast. She is studying too at the same university as Kyle and Lindy.

I can say that Mary Kate is perfect for this role. The way she acts as a weird, cool, crazy young witch in the movie.

For the rest of the characters you can judge them by yourself. I just made a run-down on the important ones. But keep an eye on Kyle's tutor. He got a sense of humor. I laugh hard on him.

Overall, the movie didn't fail me. It's worth my time and I'm glad I've seen this. The movie is definitely deserves to be seen again and again. I love how the movie turns out in the end. Predictable, yeah!, but there are things or scenes you didn't expect to happen. 

And I heard that this movie has a book! Oh! Too bad I have seen the movie first. But I would definitely want to read the book and made some comparison.

Kiss Proof Lip Gloss

Hi Ladies! 

Sorry for being MIA this past few days/weeks. Work has been so rough and we recently lost a loved one so I got no time to blog anything. My head was full of problems and worries. Oh life ha! 

Anyway, enough of my rants and today I'm going to have a product review about this brand; Jazzy. 

What is it?

This brand is known because of the international makeup artist James Cooper. And I think Jazzy is the sister company of Pinkies Collection. 

I discovered this brand on Say Artillero channel on YouTube so I got so intrigued and when I got the chance to hit the beauty section at the mall I bought this Kiss Proof Lip Gloss from Jazzy. 

I think this Lip Gloss has a 6 different shades to choose from. To be safe, I chose the color Nude which is in the code of LKP-06. 

Packaging?

Let me go straight into the lip gloss itself because I think you'll not go around with the gloss inside its box, right? So, the tube looks fine with me. And I think it's made of a thick plastic or fiberglass. I dunno. I drop this thing for so many times and luckily it didn't break. So I guess the packaging was really great! I really like the packaging of it. It has a doe applicator just like other lip gloss brand which makes you easy to apply.

Price?

PHP 299.00 for 8 ml :)

Fragrance?

This Lip Gloss has no pungent odor or like that. It's totally odorless which is good for me.

Texture?

It is super matte! It reminds me of Excel Paris Matte Lip Cream which is made in China. But unlike Excel I think Jazzy Kiss proof lip gloss is safer for us. Excel doesn't have any ingredients listed on its packaging unlike this Jazzy. 

My thoughts 'bout this?

Well, when I first try this I thought my lips are cemented. Haha. It feels numb and weird maybe because its matte. You have to apply the gloss evenly and wait for it to dry up so that you can see the real color. It definitely shows your lip lines and it dries your lips. You should have a lip balm or cream under it so that it will not emphasizes the lines and it'll not crack your lips. 

I just kind of disappointed on the color because I think it is really nude. The color says it's nude it turns out it's kinda pinkish brown or something. 

It's not Kissproof as it claims, not that I try, because to me it only lasted for 4 hours and the sales lady said that this is a 24 hour Lip gloss. It fades and leaves some stain on the outer lines of your lips. Yung parang naka-lip liner ka then walang color yung loob. So see to it you check yourself every now and then.

Pros?

♔ So pigmented. As in.

♔ Easy to apply with. 

♔ Nice range of colors. 

♔ Good for TO-GO makeup or if you're in a hurry.

♔ Available at SM department stores.

Cons?

♔ Doesn't last for so long for me. 

♔ Dries up so fast. So you need to be careful not touching your outside lip line.

♔ It tends to flake.

♔ It emphasizes my lip lines.

Repurchase?

Well, I think YES! I would love to try the other shades. I don't mind reapplying it. I got lots of compliments on this lip gloss and it looks natural daw. Despite the disappointment on the color okay na naman din pala :)

Pinkies Collection Lipstick in Champagne Bubble Review

Pinkies Collection

Hey ladies! 

So this is my last Pinkies Collection product to review after the Make Up Base and the Lip Gloss both from Pinkies Collection too. So let's get started..

What is it?

I was actually looking for an everyday lipstick and since I'm hauling over the Pinkies Collection stall, I decided to give this a try. This Pinkies Collection lipstick in Champagne Bubble reminds me of a MAC lipstick which I assume everyone does right? and if you 're looking for an affordable lipstick that will not cut your budget you may wanna try this one.

Packaging?

This comes with a pink box same with other Pinkies product. When you opened it you'll see the lipstick which I told you reminds me of MAC because the exterior of it definitely similar to it. So, container is made of plastic and I think it is so fragile because when after a week that I stored it together with my other lippies it broke. It has a crack on the cap which makes me disappointed. It also has a brand name and logo on the cap which fades so easily, though I love it because it so girly.

Price?

Oh! Pinkies Collection never fails us. I bought this for PHP 149.95 which is so affordable!

My review?

I chose LP-02 shade and this is one of my super-safe-color-on-my-lips lipstick. I'm Morena and it flatters my skin. It smells like Vanilla which I love so dearly. When you apply it, the lipstick will glide so smoothly hence, you will have to apply a little bit more to show up the color. I use my lipstick brush or my ring finger to smoothen and even out the shade. And I don't think you don't need any gloss when you use this, only this would be perfect. It is so moisturizing but you need to reapply it every once in a while because it fades off so easily. 

Swatch at the back of my hand with window lightning. Swatch for about 3 times.

When I applied it on the back of my hand, it shows a coral shade of color, but in lips it shows the nudity of the color with a hint of pink.

Pros?

♔ Very affordable.

♔ Glides so smoothly.

♔ I love the Vanilla scent of it.

♔ You will really love the color.

♔ Moisturizing doesn't need any lip balms.

Cons?

♔ The packaging is so fragile. It cracks so easily.

♔ Doesn't claim a longer wear time. 

♔ The color of the lipstick itself is kinda different when you apply it on your lips.

Repurchase?

I think NO. The color just makes me curious on how will it look like in my lips and it's really good. But I want a lipstick that last long since I'm working a lot of time and I don't have a time retouching.
